Christmas cards for the community
Campden Home Nursing and Chipping Campden School are excited to announce a joint fundraising project. A Christmas Card Competition, which is open to all students at School and will raise funds for the local charity and our Performing Arts Centre campaign. Students will be in with a chance of winning a £50 Amazon voucher, and all abilities are encouraged to enter. Four winning designs will be announced on 23 October and will be printed and available to purchase in packs of eight at the beginning of November. The artwork will be judged by Trustee of Campden Home Nursing, Elizabeth Milnes-James, local performer and writer, Keyna Doran and Sara Chandler, retired Vice Principal and teacher at the school. Helen Makaritis, General Manager of Campden Home Nursing said: 'It’s been a difficult year for everyone in the town, so we wanted to do something to lift people’s spirits and spread some Christmas cheer. We are really looking forward to working with the school and seeing all of the entries.' Niki Crew, Art teacher said: 'The students are very enthusiastic about the competition and we look forward to showcasing their talents.' The cards will be on sale from the Campden Home Nursing Charity shop at Lower High Street, their website at: www.campdenhomenursing.org and from the School’s Development office (email: firstname.lastname@example.org for an order form)
We will show the winning entries on our news page at the end of October. The cards will retail at £5 for a pack of 8 and all the profits will be shared equally between Campden Home Nursing and the Performing Arts Centre campaign. We are very grateful to local printers, Vale Press for sponsoring this competition.
